How organisations mark it
- Run the Council's electrical safety checklist audit across the site and fix the defects it finds before the week ends.
- Test earthing, residual current devices and earth leakage protection, and log the results.
- Walk the site for temporary wiring, overloaded boards and damaged leads, and replace them.
- Book an in-plant awareness session or webinar on electrical safety for maintenance staff and contractors.
- Put up the year's theme banner and posters and hand out badges at the shift briefing on 26 June.
