World Conference on Drowning Prevention 2025
The International Life Saving Federation holds this conference every two years as the main global meeting on drowning prevention, lifesaving and water safety. The 2025 edition met in Sharm El Sheikh from 21 to 23 November under the theme "Waves of Change", drew more than 500 delegates from 55 countries, and was co-sponsored by the World Health Organization. A 2027 edition is planned but its host city was not yet published.
